"The Social Work Licensure Prep Course" is offered the first two Saturdays of each month and provides 9.5 Category I CEUs. This is an exciting, interactive, and systematic psychoeducational class designed to reduce anxiety, manage, & recall large amounts of information. Additionally, strategies & techniques required to pass the social work licensure exam will be reviewed. It's also important to note that THIS Social Work Licensure Prep Course has a 98% success rate.
"Clinical Supervision Management/Leadership Seminar" is a 2 day seminar and provides 12.0 Category I CEUs. This training meets the requirement for becoming a Maryland Certified Social Work Supervisor. Social Workers already certified in the state of Maryland can take this training as a refresher. LCPCs will receive 12 of the 18 required hours to supervise in the state of Maryland.
Clinical Practice & the Business of Mental Health is a 1 day training that provides 6.5 Category I CEUs. This training will teach clinicians the business side of mental health as well as the importance of rendering clients the highest quality of clinical services necessary to improve their overall emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, social, familial, educational, vocational, medicl, legal, and cultural wellbeing.
"Understanding Ethics & HIV/AIDS is a 1 day training that provides 6.5 Category I CEUs." This training provides a psycho-ecuational overview about ethics to include the definition/origin & reason for a Code of Ethics. A discussion with clinicians about the importance of Ethics as explicated by the NASW Code of Ethics and a review/discussion about the relevance of COMAR & HIPPA compliance.
"Treating Resistant Clients" is a 1 day training that provides 6.5 Category I CEUs." This training provides clinicians a thorough review, discussion & clinical vignettes to practice & learn how to deal with resistant clients during treament.
"Erik Erikson's Psychosocial Stages of Development and It's Relevance to Clinical Practice" is a 1 day training that provides 5.5 Category I CEUs."
Clinicians will receive an in-depth pscyhoeducational review, comparison analysis and relevance of Erikson's Psychosocial Stages of Development in clinical practice. Facilitator will share a systematic and effective way to apply and/or utilize Erikson's Psychosocial Stages of Development during clinicial practice.
"Effective Diagnosing and Treatment Planning" is a 1 day training that provides 5.5 Category I CEUs." This is an interactive training designed to provide clinicians a thorough psycho-educational overview, comparison analysis and an effective systematic way to develop an initial psychosocial diagnosis and treatement plan, as well as an updated treatment plan.
"Adolescent Depression is a half day training that provides 3.75 Category I CEUs." This training was designed to provide clinicians an in-depth overview about how depression manifest in adolescents. A comparison analysis both males and females will be reviewed with clinicians.
"Understanding Ethics is a half day training that provides 3.5 Category I CEUs." This trainig will provide a thorough overview of Ethics and the clinical oligations Social Workers must adhere to in accordance with the NASW Code of Ethics.
"Effective Case Management is a half day training that provides 3.0 Category I CEUs." This trainig will entail a psycho-educational overview about case managment and how to manage cases effectively.
"Enhancing Clinical Note Writing is a half day training that provides 3.0 Category I CEUs." This training provides clinicians an in-depth overview about clinical writing & its usefulness when applied appropriately. Facilitator will share & discuss a systematic style of clinical note writing called GIRP. Terms and interventions needed to enhance one's clinical note writing will be shared and discussed during this training.
